Open Question: Is the UK one of the few countries where you can't hear insects at night?

Pretty much everytime I've been abroad a country has 'night noise'. This is normally the sound of insects doing mating calls. Open Question: Is this a better representation of the Olympic Medal Count?

I've weighted the Olympic Medal Count to give us a better idea of the overall standings. Gold gets 3 points, Silver - 2 Points and Bronze 1 Point.
